Vertrekend Beeld
Vertekend Beeld is a unique overview exhibition with the work of 12 leading artists known for their drawings in the newspapers and news media: a mix of popular illustrators, rapidly emerging talent and world stars. The selection could have been even bigger, but the intention is to make Vertekend Beeld an annual exhibition.
There is beautiful work on display and for sale by Joost Swarte, Leonie Bos, Claudie de Cleen, Nastia Cistakova, Olivia Ettema, Paul Faassen, Isa Grutter, Johan Kleinjan, Tja Ling Hu, Luis Mendo, Jip van den Toorn and Sarah Yu Zeebroek .
Many drawings have previously appeared in De Volkskrant, NRC, VPRO Gids, HP/De Tijd, De New Yorker, Wallpaper*, De Morgen and others. But the artists also show their autonomous works with a wide variety of subjects. This creates an exciting and certainly inspiring and colorful exhibition, which gives a good picture of what the Netherlands has to offer to (political) cartoonists.

A Perfect Day II
A Perfect Day is a platform where artists reflect on our absurd, poetic, frustrating and glorious daily life, through drawings with text, accompanied by music and performances. It organizes events (online and offline) and, in collaboration with artists, gives a stage to this art of drawing.
For this exhibition I created a new series of artworks revolving around the theme of self love.
